Gabrielle was called to the bar in December, 2016 and is a member of MF&G’s Property Department. She completed her Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours in 2014 at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. She then graduated from the Norman Manley Law School where she was awarded the Raphael Codlin & Co Prize for being one of the five most outstanding final year students.
While pursuing her legal studies, Gabrielle worked as a Realtor and Mortgage Broker with the leading real estate broker in Jamaica, giving her vast, hands-on, exposure to the real estate and development market. She was also extensively trained in mortgage underwriting by the largest building society and mortgage provider in Jamaica. Gabrielle remains actively engaged in the real estate market and is a member of the Realtors Association of Jamaica.
Gabrielle sits as a member of the Corporate Governance Committee of the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica and was an integral part of the research teams for both the PSOJ Corporate Governance Code for MSME’s released in 2016 and the PSOJ Corporate Governance Code 2016.
Gabrielle’s practice areas include Residential and Commercial Property Sales and Leases, Mortgages, Estate Planning, Probate and Administration of Estates, Planning and Environmental Law, Subdivision and Developments.
Gabrielle is a nature enthusiast and a self-taught artist with a passion for creativity, health and fitness.
