London Office
In 1995 MF&G opened an office in London, MF&G UK, initially to provide legal services for its clients with business in the UK. Since then, MF&G UK has expanded into a law firm which offers a full range of legal services with particular emphasis on client care. The firm specializes in private client work with emphasis on tax and estate planning, particularly for non-domiciled residents in the UK, utilising its close links with the law firm and trust company it the British Virgin Islands. MF&G UK also provides advice on outward investment to Jamaica and, through trade links, with other countries in the CARICOM region.

MF&G UK has developed a large real estate practice providing personalised service in both commercial and residential conveyancing transactions as well as real estate development of leasehold and freehold property. It also offers specialised legal services in financial, commercial and corporate transactions, intellectual property and trade mark issues and entertainment and sports related activities.

The well developed litigation department has been involved in wide ranging areas of law and some celebrated cases and ranks as one of the two leading Privy Council agents undertaking appeals to that body on behalf of clients from a wide cross section of Caribbean territories.

As with MF&G in Jamaica, MF&G UK is able to take advantage of the MF&G Network and enhance its provision of legal and related services to its clients in England, by drawing upon on the resources of its associated firms and trust companies in Jamaica and the British Virgin Islands.
