Tricia-Gaye Watson holds an LLB (Hons.) degree from the University of the West Indies, and was admitted to practice in 2002. She also holds an LLM (Hons.) degree from University of London in Computer and Communications Law, which covered the law relating to the following:
Information Technology, Internet, Telecommunications and Copyright & Related Rights.
Tricia-Gaye is a member of the Firm's Commercial Department. Her practice includes business law, banking, project finance, hotel development, aircraft leases, information technology, internet, share sale agreements, sales of going concerns. She has experience with various commercial matters in the energy sector and provides general advice to businesses on compliance issues. Tricia-Gaye has represented major local financiers in several major loans for various projects.
Tricia-Gaye is the Honorary Legal Counsel for the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce and is the chair of the Website committee and Vice-chair of the trade committee of the Chamber. Her hobbies include playing squash and she is a member of the Committee of Management of Liguanea Club and is chair of the Activities committee. Tricia-Gaye is a part time tutor in contract law in the Faculty of Law at the University of the West Indies.
