Maliaca Wong holds an L.L.B. (Hons.) degree from the University of the West Indies, and was admitted to practice in Jamaica in 1998. She was also admitted to practice in Grenada. Maliaca is a Partner and a member of the Firm's Litigation Department.
Maliaca's practice includes Medical Negligence for Public Health Authority, Professional Negligence for Auditors and Directors, Banking Litigation for Commercial Banks, Mortgages and other security documents, Law of Receiverships, Tort and Contract Law, Personal Injury, Land Law,
Defamation, Corporate Restructuring, Mediation, Labour Law, Family Law in particular matrimonial property disputes, Telecommunications and Regulatory matters. She has represented clients in litigation in the Eastern Caribbean Territories.
Maliaca is a former board member of The Dispute Resolution Foundation, and sits on the Medical Ethics Committee of a major hospital. She is also a member of the Alternative Disputes Committee of the Jamaica Bar Association.
