Barbara Ann Alexander is the firm's Managing Partner and former head of the firm's Real Estate and Commercial Departments. Ms. Alexander holds a B.Sc. degree from the University of the West Indies. She is a highly experienced commercial attorney, admitted to practice in Jamaica in 1976 and the United Kingdom in 1985, with specialist skills in a variety of areas  from complex banking security and development financing matters, hotel acquisitions, airport financing, takeovers and mergers, Miss Alexander brings to each matter strategic thinking. Miss Alexander is also recognised as an expert practitioner in the real estate field having managed numerous large-scale housing and hotel developments.

Miss Alexander has served on the boards of major statutory corporations and currently serves as a director on the following boards:
