Alexis Robinson holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) (Hons.) from City University in London, England and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, U.S.A. She is a graduate of the Inns of Court School of Law (England) and the Norman Manley Law School.

Admitted to practice in Jamaica in 2007 and in England and Wales as a Barrister in 2006 (Lincoln’s Inn), Alexis is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. Her practice areas have included commercial and banking litigation, employment law, debt recovery, family law (in particular custody disputes), judicial review and other general civil and commercial litigation practice areas.

Alexis is a Fellow of the International Academy of Apologetics and Human Rights, and was previously involved in pro bono representation of labourers in the London Employment Tribunal. She is a member of Jamaicans for Justice, the Independent Jamaica Council for Human Rights and the Alternative Dispute Resolution and Civil Practice and Procedure Committees of the Jamaican Bar Association. She holds a Certificate in Mediation Practice and Procedure awarded by the Dispute Resolution Foundation of Jamaica and enjoys playing squash.
